A Taste in Time , 667 Prentice St. – Making opportunities for young families. Opening soon – a 1950’s old fashioned ice cream parlor, soda fountain and sandwich shop supporting the mission of El Nido Birth and Family Ministries.
Bluenose Gopher Public House Cooperative , 681 Prentice St. – Making a space where community, creativity, and history collide with quality beverages and food as a cooperative organization. Serving Minnesota craft beer and wine. Space for local art, live music and open mic nights.
Granite Falls Woodworks , 646 Prentice St. – Making custom wood products including solid wood countertops and bar tops as well as anything made of wood. We also offer laser engraving to make your products unique to you.
Heather’s Book Nook and Sew Much More , 682 Prentice St. – Making quilts with a the long arm quilter, custom t-shirts and other crafts. Selling fabric, quilting supplies and used books.
Farmer’s Market – Making fresh vegetables available on Wednesdays from 9-3 during the summer and fall. Located next to the Minnesota River. No charge for vendors.
Kiwanis Popcorn Stand , Prentice St. and 7th Ave. – Making freshly popped buttered popcorn served with 1919 Root beer every evening from May 1- September 30. All proceeds go back to the community.
The Falls Boutique , 709 Prentice St. – Making space for local vendors. Locally owned boutique featuring artisan soaps, lotions, food items and clothing.
The Yes House , 726 Prentice St. – Making a radically welcoming community gathering space that houses the non-profit arts organization, Department of Public Transformation, and the Granite Falls City Artist in Residence program. The Yes House includes a co-working space, art gallery, performance venue, recording studio, yoga studio, media lab and rock climbing facility.
Jimmy’s Pizza , 776 Prentice St. – Making fresh pizza and a variety of appetizers, pasta dinners, salads and pizzas.
Korthuis Jewelry and Gifts , 741 Prentice St. – Making new jewelry out of your old pieces. New and vintage jewelry are sold in the oldest business in downtown Granite Falls. Korthuis can also restore your old jewelry and repair your watch.
Falls Cafe and Canoe , 723 Prentice St. – Making breakfast, lunch and dinner with a flair using local ingredients. Restaurant and Marketplace opening soon. Canoe and kayak rentals during the summer season.
Makers on the Minnesota ,Granite Area Arts Council , 807 Prentice St. – Making art and hosting creative events. Gallery space and Makers on the Minnesota gift shop stocked with artwork created locally. The Granite Area Arts Council owns and manages this space staffed by volunteers. Carl’s Bakery , 810 Prentice St. – Making donuts, cookies, muffins, breads, lunch specials, sheet cakes & wedding cakes. We also now offer eggs, chicken, turkey, and pork raised locally on the Streblow Family Farm.
